Rhinoplasty (Nose Job)

Sometimes we are unsure of the solution to cosmetic problems like your nose being cosmetically unattractive or unshapely compared to your other facial features. You will be glad to know that there are procedures to fix this and offer you a solution from feeling out of place socially. Rhinoplasty, or nose reshaping, can help you get the symmetrical nose job you have always wanted. This allows you to correct any birth defects, disease or injury that may have resulted in an abnormal appearance of the nose. Rhinoplasty helps with producing a more attractive nasal shape or one with a better proportion to your other facial features. This procedure can also be used to successfully correct large nostrils. Dr. Soler has been performing Rhinoplasty surgeries for many patients the greater Tampa Bay area. Dr. Soler has the experience and board certified qualifications to perform your next cosmetic surgery.

How is a Rhinoplasty procedure performed?

Dr. Soler performs rhinoplasty under general anesthesia on an outpatient basis. Any initial discomfort after the surgery is controlled using oral medicine. Most of the bruising and swelling subsides gradually over a period of 2 weeks to a month after surgery. You will see some results of the surgery show within 3 weeks, but the complete result will be evident in about a year or 14 months following surgery. To make the nose more symmetrical with the rest of the face, other procedures may be performed in conjunction with a Rhinoplasty, such as a Facelift or ear surgery.

Will my nose job be covered by insurance?

Nose reshaping done for cosmetic reasons is not covered under insurance. This procedure may get some coverage if it is performed for health or injury purposes. You may get pre-authorization information from your insurance provider. Any individual risk or suitability factors can be determined at the time of consultation with Dr. Soler. Even though all surgical procedures carry a slight degree of risk, any major complications are not foreseen in Rhinoplasty. Any minor complications that may arise do not hamper the end result of your surgery.
