You have decided you are ready for larger breasts. You are tired of looking for clothes that make you look like more than you have. You don’t want to wear padded bras anymore. You are ready for a permanent solution. Before you start making plans for breast augmentation, you need to prepare yourself. Know what is involved in breast implant surgery to make sure that this is what you want.

You Can Choose the Type of Implant

No one is going to force you to choose one type of a breast implant over another. Do your homework and weigh your options. You can go with saline, silicone, or even fat transfer. If you are unsure of what to choose, Dr. Pedro Soler would be more than happy to discuss the differences with you.

Size Matters

You want to make sure you are happy with the size you choose for your implants. Take a good look at gallery photos of other patients to see what a certain cup size will look like. Ask Dr. Soler about wearing gel inserts in your bra to see how your body will be transformed after surgery. You want to get your surgery right the first time that you have breast augmentation.

You Need to Allow Your Breasts Time to Heal

You’re not going to be able to jump out of bed right after surgery and get right back to your daily routine. At least five days are needed before the dressings come off, and after that time Dr. Soler can give you an estimate of when you will be fully recovered. During this time, you can perform light activities like walking. When you do return to work, you may need to begin with light activities.
