How is a neck lift performed?

The procedure requires an incision to be made under the chin for removal of fat, after which the muscles are tightened and if necessary, some skin may be removed. The patient leaves the hospital with their neck and chin wrapped in dressing or in an elastic sling around the neck. Any initial discomfort after surgery can be easily controlled with oral medication prescribed by Dr. Soler. Bruising and swelling takes about two weeks to disappear entirely and the desired result of the surgery is visible after a month or two.
