A Brazilian butt lift is similar to any cosmetic procedure in that your decision is personal, and every person has their own reasons for undergoing this procedure. Some factors to consider to determine if a BBL is right for you include:
If you are driving or flying to our office for your surgery, we advise that you remain in the area for a few days after surgery. We recommend looking at the chart below for an estimated timeline. During your initial consultation, Dr. Soler will also discuss the exact number of days you should plan to stay in the area post-surgery. The recovery process for a buttock lift lasts about six weeks. You should avoid sitting or lying on your back for the first two weeks by sleeping on your side or stomach and sitting on a donut-shaped seat or pillow. Most BBL patients can resume their normal activities within a week after surgery. However, you should still avoid strenuous activity for up to eight weeks.
Like any surgery, it is essential to follow Dr. Soler’s post-surgery instructions. This may mean wearing an elastic support girdle or staying one or two nights at a hospital or nursing facility to ensure you can receive any catheters or pain injections as needed. Dr. Soler will discuss the recovery process during your initial consultation at our office.
